My trailer came with solar panels so,,,,,,,,,,,
There is a 30% solar federal tax credit available for people that install a renewable energy source for their residence.
I wonder if it could apply to our trailers as well?
I figure a trailer is a second residence, and for some full timers it's a primary residence.
To me it seems like we could get it. What do you think?
I have been told that you can do this, but you will need specific receipts for the installation, or the individual upgrade charges from the factory if the solar came with the trailer.
Check with your tax professional about the actual details.

Thanks Lewster,,
The law seems to read a little loose about the requirements, so ya, I will have to contact the IRS on this one, or at least a CPA that does taxes for a living to make sure before I file for it on this years taxes.
well....i checked last year w/my cpa, she said, "its a gray area but as it is putting one up for an audit" i did not add it to my tax form for credit.....not worth it to me...
