Hi, I was careless backing the trailer into the storage unit and broke off a running light next to the trailer door (2015 27FB). We leave in 3 days for a 2 1/2 week trip to Yellowstone. I am worried that the broken wire might blow a fuse or worse when the lights are turned on.
It appears that the power lead is outside the trailer. You could for a temporary measure put a wire nut on it to protect it from shorting out. I would also tape the two wires together so they don't pull back inside the shell.
It would not be hard to find a replacement and install it. It is not a difficult job.
You can pick up replacement at almost any auto, rv parts store or even truck stops.

Thanks for the replies, if the white is positive then I will try covering it and see what happens when I turn the lights on. The ground wire is actually broken inside the trailer so I am not sure what the long term fix will be. we may be going to Ohio this fall!
