Replacing Tail Light LEDs in 2014 FC

I just purchased a used 2014 FC from a private party. In the inspection (thank you David Johnson) it was noted that there are a few LEDs in the tail lights that are not working. I'd like to replace them, and have found a source to purchase, but am not sure of the best way to get access to the back of the light. Does the entire light unit, including frame, come off or is it just the smaller section in which the lights are housed? Anyone having this experience I'd be pleased to learn what you know.

Replace the entire light - they are available just about anywhere, the biggest issue is the shiny plastic that fits around the light,

Thanks. Yes, I do find them available on line. I just have a fundamental issue with replacing the entire unit, most of which is still working, rather than just replacing the bulbs. Must be a California thing. I do appreciate the suggestion.

With LED unit you must replace the whole unit, the individual LEDs are soldered into a circuit board and the whole thing sealed.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. Yes, removing the chrome bezel is best done with a paint can opener and flat screwdriver, being careful not to chip the edge of the bezel. Four tabs hold it in place. Once removed the sealed tail light assembly comes off with four screws. there is no way to access the individual bulbs so the entire unit is replaced with one costing less than $30.00. A new bezel is about $7.00. Three wires into the lamp assembly which may need to be cut and spliced but I haven't received the replacement yet to know for sure.

Easy job to do yourself.
