No more Rinse cycle?
I went to use my sprayer for my toilet this evening and all I got was a dribble. I have to admit she does not get used often but I still need it.
I looked at the back of the throne as best I could and can only see where it hooks up.
Any suggestions for my fairly new thetford?
I know she is still under warrenty but I ned to repair it before I can get to a dealer.

Michelle,
I can only assume from your post that the toilet flush works ok?
If so, then I'd suggest taking the sprayer off, or apart, to see if it has clogged somehow. Might be as simple as construction debris from when "they" built and plumbed your trailer.

uwe,
It flushes. And the openings in the end of the nozzle are fine. i think . I pull it off and see if water flows out of the hose freely. Did not think of that initially. Long afternoon in the simulator....

Did you say new?
Michelle, I notice you said new- that leads one to wonder about the manufacturing of the new unit. First, I would try to ensure there was not a kink in the hose, or maybe oinched somewhere. The next thing would be to take the sprayer head off the hose, and see if water comes out the hose when you mash the small pedal. If so, then it's the head-either inop or stopped up. If no water comes from the hose, then most likely it will be the valve.

Well. It appears to be the valve. I removed the spray head and the water runs out in a steady stream but without force. I put my finger over then end and it stopped. The spray head is reasonably clean.

These guys have repair parts.
Or, buy a Sealand porcelain toilet. They have a full size toilet seat.

Black tank flush
Just in case you were wondering. Here is what the tank flush looks like from both sides. Do look any further if you get queasy.
Note the sensor at the bottom left. In the second picture the small holes in the nozzle
Don't ask how I got the second picture. I am not going to tell.

Okey, I won't ask. But I hope you won't take it too personal if I don't shake/hold your hand.
Neil.

Michelle - uh.. was that a flight simulator, or a black tank simulator.... I don't want to hear about a long day there if it was the latter...
