Kitchen sink faucet

I have a 1999 Excella Classic 31 and the kitchen sink faucet does not work. No water flows from it. Camping World replaced the stock Moen because it didn't work now their replacement doesn't work. Probably didn't do a function check after installation. All the water in the bathroom works. Additionally, there is an extra water connection just hanging under the kitchen sink. The water filter was removed before I bought it. I have opened the hot water tank bypass. Any thoughts?

Skip,

I have the same problem whenever the rig has sat idle for a length of time. Invariably, a piece of crud has precipitated out of the water and clogged one of the small openings.

First, place the stopper in the sink - in case you drop anything. Then unscrew the atomizer screen and clean any detritus. Also pull the little plastic thing out and blow backwards through it.

Next, remove the spray wand from the flexible hose (I assume you have one like mine). At this point, I suspect if you turn on the water, it will come out of the hose (if no water comes out, then you have a different problem). Then unscrew the fitting from the back side of the wand and clean it out.

As to the extra connection under the sink, I believe it is an Acqua Pure filter housing. Do you have a little spout on your sink? If you do, you can buy the filter and it does a good job of improving the taste of your water.

Good luck

Pat
