'62 GT Fresh Water Intake

I added a new fresh tank below the belly of my GT (Original was inside under gaucho) and am rerouting the intake line down under the belly with 1 1/2" smooth bor flex line that fit snug over the original cast aluminum intake.

That intake was the only thing that the smooth bor product fits. What kind of hose fittings are compatible with this stuff? My local hardware stores don't carry your marine grade 90 degree MPT to barbed connections and I don't care to order copper $45 parts when I'm not sure they fit.

My new fresh tank ports are FPT and the PVC fittings fit the tank nice. The PVC adapters just don't fit the hose I bought. Smooth Bor is stiff because of the spiral no collapse ring around it. Anyone ever run into this where the hose is incompatible with common fittings? Dang thing fit over a copper adapter I found that was 1 1/4" DWV but I refuse to ham fist this thing just to get by.

Maybe a "SEAFIT Nylon Male Pipe-to-Hose Adapters" from west marine.com?

Thanks 65 CV, McMaster Carr had them in bulk same price as West Marine after shipping.

I'm sure I'll be using them on the new grey tank I added.
