What kind of awning?

Can anyone tell me what kind of awning this trailer would have had? It has these brackets which make me think it was a roll out awning, but also has a storage point underneath for what I think would be the pole and rope awning. Any ideas? It's a 1960 Land yacht International.

I agree, but what I meant was, would it have been fixed or not?

Those are Zip Dee lock down brackets so I expect that it had a Zip Dee at one time at least. Too bad it is gone now. It would have been a normal roll up awning with cover, not a pole and rope awning.

The storage tube could have been for a sewer hose, or possibly an original pole and rope awning, later replaced with the now missing Zip Dee.

Bess guess, lots happens in 54 years.
