Thanks. I did use a hair dryer gun on high (it was quite hot) to get the decals off in the first place, that and a plastic scraper. I could use a painter's heat gun but that has scorchingly hot heat. I was afraid of getting the aluminum skin too hot in one place and have it distort.

"One Step RV SUPER SEAL",
and their "Cleaner Polish & Glaze" ???
This would be for a 76 airstream with NO clearcoat left on it.
