Is the pump pumping water and if so, is there good pressure? I just went through this with my 2007 Classic FB. The noise was not the pump itself but the water lines coming to and from the pump. The pump pulses were causing the lines to vibrate and hit other objects around them. They were hitting rigid water lines, duct work and a wall of the shower. I simply took a piece of foam pipe insulation and cut sections that I wrapped around the pump lines at any point they were touching some other object. It made a great deal of difference in the noise level.

Hi, I made my own flex hoses and later added an accumulator. My pump is real quiet now.

If this is something new, you may have some air trapped in the lines somewhere. This causes the lines to bounce around and bang against adjacent objects., If you are in a situation where you can do it, allow each faucet to run wide open for a bit this will probably clear it.

Hi, while traveling to a Rally, and going to Oregon, whenever we used our water pump, it has been so much better than before my mods. I can still barely hear the pump, but so much quieter and smoother now. Wish I had done this sooner.

I'm guessing it is probably the difference in year, rather than model between our trailers, however our trailer came with flexible hose connection to water pump.

Hi, Ken. My trailer's water pump was directly connected to PEX. I heard that SHURFLO instructions say not to connect to hard lines. [I haven't verified this statement] After market flex lines are straight on both ends so I made my own with 90 degree ends. Also I used longer hoses.
