Trim Issue

I washed the Airstream yesterday and, when I was drying it, I noticed one of the (1/2" or so) belt trim pieces had bubbles under what looked like a plastic film on top of the trim.

Does anyone know if the trim has a plastic film over the top of it that should have been removed after the trim was installed? It's puzzling why there would be water bubbles on top of the trim.

Maggie,

Did you remove the film? I wonder if I should and risk messing up the trim or put it on my "warranty" list for when it next goes to the dealer.

I did, and it peeled right off like a very thin sheet of Saran Wrap.

It's a warranty issue, have dealer replace trim.
