Task list software

Does anyone have a recommendation as to software that can track tasks in priority sequence? There are so many tasks in a major rehab, and I am thinking that it might be useful to have software that can order tasks in sequence. Example: before re-installing the interior walls, what tasks must be complete?

I am envisioning software that would (1) permit me to record individual tasks, (2) permit me to define the priority of a task by reference to one or more other task/s, and (3) include some kind of report of tasks in priority order.

Is there a relatively easy-to-use version of this available?

Thanks, Hank

Have you tried any.do?

Works on desktop and mobile devices, both Apple and Android.

For bigger projects, I use Evernote.

I use Evernote for these types of projects. Also allows you to "attach" web pages, photos, files which I find handy for reference and to document what I actually did. Keeps everything in one place.

Software is free (there's a $$ version that is worth it since it allows you to search in any documents--even PDFs--for words or topics). Works on all platforms.

One additional benefit of Evernote is that it OCRs scanned documents.

Which means, if you scan in a manual, that document becomes searchable. Really, really handy. I keep all of my important documents in there.
