Need Pictures of front couch area to re build 66 Tradewind

Hi all,
Just got a 66 Tradewind and the front was converted to a queen bed. I want it back to the original couch / pull out. I have the drawer bass , wood sliders and seat wood, but need pictures and dimensions of the couch back and shelf that sits under front window. Any Pics , words or dimensions would be GREAT )

We have a 68 tradewind. Not sure it is the same, but the seat back in ours was actually inside the cushion.

The gaucho or "Front Lounge", or "Fixed Double Bed" as it has been called in various places at various times, didn't change much if at all over the years.

The OP of our '74 Sovereign told me it was so uncomfortable that he tore it out and put in two Ikea chairs/beds. The Ikea chair/beds are tough to set up, but make a really comfy bed.

Take a peek at my ad for my Tradewind in Colorado and click on the picture of the dining area I placed in front of the Gaucho. Pretty simple way to fix the lack of Dining facility. I just bought a fold out camp table and placed it in front of the Gaucho. Then look at DFlores link to sofa beds (gaucho)-Vintage Airstream that should help. I think this link will give you measurements.
Good Luck. D Bishop

My ad is in Airstreamcentral.com Classifieds and it is about the 4th or 5th place in the Vintage for sale section.

Our '66 HAD the 'couch up front but a previous owner replaced it with a dinette. That was done to install 2 20 gal fresh water tanks under the seats. REALLY handy. We have twin beds and the dinette converts into a bed.

Thanks all..got it sorted out except I don't know if the back of the couch is supported by the shelf or are there some type of rest / stops on the left and right walls to hold up the back rest ??
