Need advice grey and black tank and using MARINE TOILET

We are just starting renovations on 64 safari AS. It has one holding tank as was the norm back then. My son who is helping us and renovates boats is suggesting installing a marine toilet and keeping just the one tank. A "true compost toilet" isn't in the budget however a marine toilet may work. I'm still concerned with the smell using only one tank though. We are avid RV'ers and have extensive boating experience with marine toilets however this will be our first in a older unit. THOUGHTS AND ADVICE PLEASE!

Regardless of the toilet, what you need to add to a 64 trailer is gray water capacity. Your existing tank is likely to be too small to hold much gray water. I suggest keeping the current tank for black water and adding a separate gray water tank.
