Mystery Hole

So in replacing the stuff we have ripped out of our bathroom, there seems to be a strange hole in our waste water tank pan. the first is from the inside of the pan, the next the outside, and from the inside. Where does it come from?

The hole is (was) connected to a heat duct.

In freezing weather, when you run the furnace, some heat is diverted to that holding tank pan, which keeps things from freezing, within reason.

It's almost 1:30 AM, I thought from your title you were talking about a blind date with a slut.

And with that comment I guess all the kids are in bed.
