Chilhowee RV Knoxville TN

I would like to get some references on the AS repair service at Chilhowee RV close to Knoxville, TN. This is the closest AS authorized dealer close to me and I would like to know if they have a good service department. Any feedback on personal experience with their service department is appreciated.

did you ever get any feedback or did you use them for anything? I am in Murfreesboro and am looking at them for some repair work on my 78 that was backed into.

I feel that they are very slow. I take mine to the factory, its only 6 hours. If I needed anything, they would do in a pinch.

This Company never lost a nickel on a job ( if you read me) Havent been there in recent time but never had any problems with their work. Unfortunately to my knowledge there are no other AS in the immediate area. I do not recommend Camping World. There is local mobile mechanic who has a good reputation and has done some work for me, His name is Glenn Day and he is at 865 617 3618. Good Luck. Learn as much as you can about the AS and the job you need done and watch and check the work afterwards

I am in the same boat as you all. I am in Knoxville and I am looking for someone to do a Banks system on my 1986 Airstream 345. I currently have it at Camping World and at first they said no problem and I even paid for the Banks System up front, but now they are saying they can't do it for the flat installation price they quoted me but will have to do it for $130 a hour. Says it will probably be 20 hours if I don't need new heads.

I did let them do the air shocks, new HD antenna, and tires, but really wish I had checked around more. So that leads me into my question on any updates on Chilhowee's service or what about Jackson RV you mentioned. Think either those would be capable of doing my Banks system? Any other suggestions?

I have not been back to Chillhowee, but there is a mobile Rv guy in Sevierville, I will like for his info, but I think he also has a shop.

I live in NH and had a very good diesel mechanic install the Banks on my 345. Definitely made a difference.

Hey were you able to ever find the mobile RV guy's number? I am picking up the Airstream from Camping World tomorrow and was hoping to have talked to him by then.
