awning hardware

we have a 1966 airstream that has the awning rail but not the side hardware. We would like to find the hardware in order to get an awning
made for the trailer. If you know where we can obtain the hardware, please advise. Thanks

My best suggestion is to go to the Zip Dee site. A great item from a great company. If its to spendy for you...look in the classifieds here for a parting out Sovereign (for length.) There is always an awning on Ebay which may work. The vintage style will be to unwieldy at that length. Out of doors mart has various parts too.

Ditto, the site does not go back that far, but I bet you'll find what you need by looking at the schematics. The factory is very helpfull by phone, also.

One of the consistent vendors in terms of supporting Vintage Airstream owners has been Zip Dee. They support their old awnings with parts on our Vintage coaches as well as producing entirely new awnings for our Vintage coaches. It has been about eight years since I had Zip Dee make an entirely new curbside awning for my '64 Overlander as well as window awnings for the bathroom and streetside bedroom windows. Zip Dees are not inexpensive, but they are durable and the manufacturer does support its products well beyond what it typical in today's business environment.
