Airstream Repair Connecticut?

Can anyone recommend anyone who works on vintage airstreams in the Connecticut, New York area? We need some work done reinforcing the back end of our 1968 Safari - rear end is sagging.

Welcome to the forum!

FYI the new search function, in the box above with the blue border, works great. "CT repair" yields:

https://www.google.com/search?q=ct+r...=airforums.com

. . . with these two recent threads being notable IMO:

As you will see in those threads, we have used George Hernandez of Classic RV for misc. service work. As the former shop manager of the CT AS dealer [now closed], he should be able to do your work IMO. I have seen other AS renovations going on at this shop, but have not needed any such work done on our FC20. Maybe give him a call, and email photos to him if he wants.

He is located just south of Poughkeepsie NY and I-84, so the trip from Norwalk would only be a couple of hours for you. BTW the FDR Hyde Park museum is just north, and is a great place to visit if you haven't seen it yet. We recommend the tour of Top Cottage:

Good luck!

Peter

PS -- Search results for "Colin Hyde" FYI:
