item #9 in my prodigy installation manual states:
CAUTION: this control is not designed for use with electric-hydraulic trailer brake systems.

so I 'upgraded' to the P3

I'm a newby Airstreamer and after reading the forums I went with the P3, and the reason was I liked the display, it's easy to tell what is going on. Have used it on a 750 mile trip so far and it worked great. I installed it myself and the tech at the dealer hasn't seen the new P3 either, and he thought it was great. It has a easy to use menu system that anyone can figure out, you don't even need the manual. It's only $20 more, worth it to me.

Just got it last weekend, simple 4 wire install, easy configuration, outstanding

performance. Have not had to adjust from the original settings dispite varying

road/load conditions. Tru-Control Brake Controller

Drove the co-pilot crazy every time I reached down to

activate the trlr. brakes/ check the gain. Simply the best performing brake

controller Iv'e ever used!! Plus it can be used on electric or elec/hydraulic systems.

YA GET WHAT YA PAY FOR.....IN THIS CASE....YA PAY A LOT AND

For those using the Tekonsha did you also install a Pulse Preventer. Apparently it's needed to prevent the use of the four way flashers from activating the brakes.

Up until recently, have always used Tekonsha, but cannot recall whether

the 4ways activated the brakes, but then again I can't remember ever using

the 4ways while moving.

How would the sob's know which way your turning.......lol

I had the opposite experience. My Prodigy worked well 04 F-250 with my Actibrake system in the 06 Classic. My Integreated tow command in my 06 F-250 is even better!
