Brakes Fully Loaded - Which Ones

I'm going to install new tires, wheels and shocks this year. Like everything else one job seems to lead to another. Figure while I have the trailer up on ramps new loaded brake plates would be a good idea. We have Henschen axles (original) rated 2600 lbs..

Which of these should I install and will they fit my axles? Would it be a good idea to go up to the 7000 lb. rating or is that just a waste of money. Thanks.

The difference is only $11 each, as long as the higher rated ones will fit your spindles. The spindle size (where the backing plate bolts on) may be larger on the higher-rated backing plates.
If you think about it, are you going to have 20,000# of stopping to do? Our Sovereign and tow vehicle together weigh less than 15,000, fully loaded.

I'd rather have more brakes than I need as opposed to having less. JMHO
