How do I know what kind of tire to I need to tell my husband to get. Is there anywhere that says 1974 needs X kind of a tire with X pattern?

Thanks.

Michele,
The specifications Andy posted should be the same for your Airstream.(it's in the same age group.) For the tires, you may or may not have a difficult time finding the 7.00x15 that were used originally. Just be sure you ask for a tire rated for trailers and, within the proper weight range. On the newer tires, look for "ST" stamped on the side-wall. Please don't use a LT and or PASSENGER CAR TIRES on your trailer..
I hope this answered your concerns.
