F150 Tow Vehicle Tires

Trying to decide on tires for our F150, 5.0 with 3.55 axle ratio. We are towing a 1999 Safari 25 with a Hensley Arrow. Added Roadmaster Active Suspension set-up which seems to enhance handing the trailer and drives nice un hitched.

I am looking at 2 possible upgrades for TV tires. The image below shows the specs of what I am considering.

On top are Cooper LTs that match the original dimensions of stock tires.
In the middle are Michelin Primacy XC with slightly larger diameter and width.
On the bottom are the Wranglers SR-As I am replacing.

The Michelins come on a new set of RIMS for about the same price as having the COOPers mounted on my existing rims.

Like the E-range and size of the Coopers.

Like the price and rims that come with the Michelins but concerned with loss of torque with 5.0 and 3.55

Any feedback is appreciated!

On my previous (2007) F150, I towed a lot of miles with the Coopers it came with and the Michelins I later installed.

As a result, I'd never choose Coopers over Michelins unless Michelin gets purchased by some 4th-rate junk-tire manufacturer and turned into junk.

It may be that the very best Coopers are as good as the very worst Michelins, but I can tell you that Cooper Discoverers were worse than Michelin LTX (now Defender) in every way. Ride, handling, traction, acceleration, braking.
