| heat pump & furnace problem
On our 2002 28 ft. classic, when it rains the a/c will not come on, or if furnace is on it will not shut off. if it rains hard enough, it leaks out bottom ot unit. I run it in a/c mode with fan on high and eventually compressor will kick on and work fine. I have tightened bolts holding unit on roof, and do not believe it is leaking there, but not impossible. Resetting electronic thermostatic control will not solve problem, only a drying out session works. Obviously what ever is happening the thermostat thinks i want it hot!!! Thanks for any thoughts. By the way, it is a dometic heat pump.
