1960 Pacer Floor Furnace

Would I be a fool to try and light a 1960 Floor furnace? Has anyone else ever tried to repair/restore this particular furnace and have any insights to pass on in regard to cleaning/restoration/etc? I am a reluctant gas technician.

And it has been seven years. You would think there would be more help.

Great pics of the floor furnace Dinky Twinky. Did you ever try to light it?

Hi Dinky Twinky, I have an intact furnace on my 1960 Pacer, but I'm too scared to light it. I have a question for Pacer-people. How do I get the toilet out? Take the base screws out but still can't shift it.
