Wire question - Dometic Americana RM2552

I got a Dometic Americana RM2552 fridge that was in another RV. My Airstream did not have a fridge, so this is a new experience and I want to make sure I hook everything up right.

At this moment, I just want to make sure this thing works. There are two red wires coming off the cooling flange. They appear to have been cut, but I can't tell what they connected to. Any ideas?

Also, should I be able to just plug this in to test the electric operation? I followed the instructions and nothing seems to be starting up. I am going to assume it has to do with these loose wires.

thanks, but i didn't see any mention of these wires.

I called Dometic. They said it must have connected to a "thermal fuse" for a "cooling fan." Any thoughts? I can't find reference to that anywhere.
