Replacing Dometic RM 2662 w/ RM 3762

My Dometic Refrigerator shot craps, and will need to replace. Looks like the RM 3762 is a option, same size foot print with more 1 more cu ft of space. My concern is that the door handles are recessed and might interfere with opening. Has anyone used the 3762 in a Classic (ours is a 2004)?

Replaced the 2662 with the 3762, looks and fits great.

Did you have an issue with the handles? I have a 06 Safari and read in a review the wood trim was in the way.

Hey we have an older safari as well ....did you ever get this done and did it work out ok ....any mods required....we are about to order the 3762 to replace the 2662 and let GulfPort replace it ....thanks in advance!!

We’re looking at doing the same: replacing at RM2662 with a comparable model, perhaps the 3762 in an ‘06 Safari 25FB. If anyone has experience to share we would greatly appreciate it!
