They must have missed the sign on the Baptist church down the street. I hate to see the local Scientology sign!

And such good company it'll be. See y'all there someday, and hopefully at LOTS of Airstream gatherings in the meantime.

Here here!

Then again, Mr. Dalrymple assures me I'm going to hell to join him for a drink.

This thread is a pleasant change from debates over axles or "whats the best sub floor material?" we lost our Rottwiler "Buzz" almost 3 years ago still miss him like crazy. If there arent dogs in heaven then I don't want to go.

What a great thread! We lost our best-est campin' buddy two years ago. Alki was a super girl, and I got such wonderful support from the other dog lovers on the forum while she was going through cancer treatments. She was an absolute angel through the whole thing, and always had a happy wag and a smile no matter what was going on.

When the time comes, wherever she went is good enough for me.

This morning I skipped watching the news and sat reading this thread on the porch. It hurts your heart to see beautiful puppies (they always are at heart) gone But even though they are gone they still continue to create love, and bring down humans defense so that they can share their stories. A fact is I would not trust anyone who didn't love animals. if you interview bank robbers I guarantee not one has a dog the dog would have told him its a stupid idea. I want to comment back on every personal story, but the cat says its stupid and I have to get to work. But I spent time reading and looking at everyone's "kids" on here and look forward to reading more. Have a great beautiful day!!! Robbie

Beautiful Bear its funny because when they get huge they still think there's plenty of space on the sofa, it's like they still think their small...the worst is in the bed. As a puppy our dog would fall asleep between us, and I would wake up constantly thinking I rolled over on him in the middle of the night. Now, he wedges in between us, forcing us both to the edge. And on cue and in rhythm, they both start snoring. It used to aggravate me, but now there's no place I'd rather be.

Mrs. Mod, you are so right! I think they were put here as a good example for us humans, not to mention good company.

When my sweet Milo left us, a friend emailed me this. There isn't one day that goes by that my heart doesn't ache for my Milo. I know we'll be together again. So glad to see all the dog/cat love in the AS world

God saw you were getting tired,
and your cure was not meant to be.
So he put his arms around you,
and whispered "come to me".

A golden heart stopped beating,
adoring eyes went to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove,
He only takes the best.
