Visited Oliver Lee State Park in New Mexico in June. My favorite place so far.

Another vote for Grayton Beach State Park in Florida. We'll be headed there next week. We're still working on the Caravel, but it will hopefully be the last time we camp in the pop-up! It's been to Grayton several times. We love the beaches there. Seaside is within biking distance. Some mornings we get up and go fishing at the Okaloosa Pier in Ft. Walton. Can't wait!

I echo the sentiments of all Grayton Beach lovers. I have many posts and pictures on my blog called Troutstream. You can go to airstreamweekends.blogspot.com and read as many entries as you want about Grayton Beach SP and my other favorite St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. The former is in a touristy area while the latter is off the beaten path.

Pneumatic tires and the internal-combustion engine have done wonders for that. All you need is time and money.

Stick a BIG crowbar in between Colorado and Utah, and you can pry them far enough apart to squeeze Alabama in between. And then Mississippi can expand to the east into Alabama's former location, making room for more Gulf Coast casinos!

Only downside is, the Crimson Tide would have to change conferences…

Lolomai campground in Sedona, Arizona. They drive you through the campground and let you select your site. I could hear the creek every night as I dozed off. Wonderful staff. AND, you have all those gorgeous red rocks. Pictures say it all.

But is that one of those see-through propane tanks in those pics? Those may have been recalled - there's a thread in here somewhere - search by the company's name. Hopefully not a problem but just in case...don't want Mongo get hurt! :-)

Is it not just one brand of see-through tanks that was recalled? (Lite Cylinder) I think there were a couple of other manufacturers.

Could be. That's why I suggested a search by brand (thanks for providing the name). I never had one but remembered a thread here about them from a particular company who seemed not very interested in responding to the complaints...

Hopefully it's not that brand. That could detract from enjoying our favorite campsites - speaking of which - back to our discussion :-)

CA Streamer, that is absolutely beautiful! I was hoping you would post again where it is.

Looks like Kirk creek to me? One of my wife's favorites. I actually gifted our airstream to her there.
