We need more Views!!

I have been following this family 'Dan' and his entourage called Mali-Mash.
They are going cross country and I want him to get all the views and subs he can get! Will we help him out? They are fixing to go across the Rockies and I think we all need to keep up with them. Thanks!

Thanks Billy! Any tips on driving east via I-70 through Eisenhower tunnel will be appreciated! I just had the brakes checked and I think we are good to go for the climb and descent, fingers crossed.

Dan,

Just take it easy and use the engine and transmission to brake rather than the vehicle brakes.

Thanks for the tip Bill, I have an diesel without a jake brake and I haven't found downshifting to be as effective as a gasoline engine. That said, I plan on being in 2nd or 3rd gear as I go down the grade with lots of breaks to cool down. Any little bit helps

Dan, you may need to put a brake pedal in the floor board for your wifes side of the van.

When we went thru the Eisenhower last year (east to west) the grade was more severe on the west side, more gradual on the east.

We went back to Texas a different route. McLean Pass. Very wicked indeed both ways. Will not do that one again...
