Was wondering if anyone, that owns a newer AS that has the ducted AC/Heat pump, have had the occasion to walk on the roof to inspect vents/AC/ or weather seals? I know that on the earlier years you just had to stay on the riveted support struts. I'm wanting to install a couple vent covers, but want to make sure I don't fall through the rafters and end up in the basement....

The new ones are no different from the old ones in that regard. Keep to the rivet lines, and stay off the end caps.

Did the same and worked from the ladder. Of course being over 6 foot tall made reaching everything much easier. Vent covers are on and if I don't mind saying... Looking good!
The vent covers are the cat's meow, aren't they. We're in New Mexico and our Airstream is in Arizona, pouring rain and our Airstream is ventilated with the vents open and no rain coming inside.
