The Extraterrestrial Highway

in researching the upcoming return of the orcas adventure…..

part of my route wants to get me from say Zion to Tonopah NV…….

and I found that i can bypass las vegas and head west on utah 56 that hits nevada 319 that hits US 93 and then nevada 375 ….the EXTRATERRESTIAL HIGHWAY….
BORDERING AREA 51

from there i want to head to truckee california and over the pass and EXIT on CA 20 that heads west past crystal lake and on to fort bragg california…..

any thoughts

Have traveled 375 several times. A very lonely drive and no gas. If you decide to take it be sure and stop at the Little A'Le'Inn in Rachel for lunch or dinner.

There is a nice CG at the intersection of NV 319 & 93, Cathedral Gorge State Park, but beyond that, it's a long desolate haul across NV. You can stop in Rachel but you just might be abducted.
