Recompense Shore Campground

I just wanted to share the news about a campground I tried out for the first time last weekend -- Recompense Shore. It is located on Casco Bay in Freeport, Maine and most of the campsites are on the ocean (dry camping only for the ocean-side sites). As you can see from the photo below, the sites are somewhat secluded and our location even had its own private path to the ocean. It was heavenly!

Looks pretty!! I would love to visit Maine as I have heard so many nice things about it, also rural NY. Some day.......!! Leigh
