Recommended Ohio Campgrounds

Will be travling from Florida to Jackson Center, OH this summer and would like to know if anyone has campground suggestion in Ohio.

check the Mansfield, Loudonville, Mohican, Area.

Then the sites on Lake Erie, Marblehead areas are so very special.

We have some terrific parks in Ohio. I would suggest checking out the state park in Hocking Hills, the Mohican area, and the Lake Erie Islands for starters.

Of course, don't discount the LaGrange Airstream Park! this is the best courtesy parking in Ohio if you want to visit Cleveland or Cedar Point area. Look up the Woodruff family. Forum name is loudruff

There are several State parks in the Jackson Center area, Grand Lake ST.Marys,Indian Lake. Kiser Lake.Buck Creek are all nice parks and they are witnin a short driving distance of Jackson CENTER. You can stay in the TERA PORT behind the AIRSTREAM plant for free if you are having work done or you can stay there at a very nominal fee.

Jackson center better than state parks as it has wifi and full hookups, excellent personnel to solve any problems. If you make it the right day of the month there is even a museum in town.
