You may be from snowy PNW but you have some of the prettiest landscape I have ever seen. We have only been that way once (Seattle and Bellingham area) by air - but absolutely loved it! I can't wait to take True Love and really explore the area, but will probably have to wait until I retire - or at least can slow down!

Congrats. I've had my 25ft Safari 1 year now and I still haven't lost that buzz of owning a Airstream. It's feeling that hasn't gone away. It's still like I got mine yesterday.
I was also at Alumaflamingo getting my fix. Great time, great people.
Many happy travels

Remaxgal: Yes, it is stunning here, even with the rare snow. I'm just North of B'ham in Ferndale. drop by when you get a chance.
ILOVESALLY....Feel the same way....something magic about an Airstream...but they'r on to that and the cost of new is "shall we say impressive"? Love to see pics of yours..mine's got the twins aft with blue and white couch...considering later models? No Way Jose'! I like what some call the "mouse fur" on the walls and ceiling...just soooo cozy!

Thank you all for your comments. Left yesterday on our maiden voyage to attend my husband's daughters wedding in Clearwater. Unfortunately, this time of the year in Florida is almost impossible to find a campground! We did locate one close to the venue but we are packed in here like sardines. Not my style of camping and definitely disappointing for our first outing - but it still beats a good day at the office ))! There will be many, many more!

Packed in----good chance to visit with some of our north of the border neighbors. Usually a very enlightening experience. Might be able to spot another AS? Jim

So nice to meet you today at Mama Gertie's. Thanks for letting us drop in for a visit and have a look at your beautiful Airstream. We just love ours. I hope your hike to Mt. Mitchell was beautiful. Hope we run into you and "True Love" on another adventure!

Congrats on the EB27! That's our choice as well. Just have to find the right "previously loved" one now.
