Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Madison, Florida

1051 SW Old St. Augustine Rd., Madison, FL 32340 (I-10 & Exit 258) | Phone: 800.347.0174 or 850.973.8269 Email: store@jellystonefl.com

Hello all!

We had a nice weekend camping trip at Jellystone campground in Madison Fl. I thought I would do a short review so others could enjoy their campground as well.

As the name suggests, this is a kid focused camp ground. Lots activities of the kids, a medium sized pool, a larger lazy river pool, splash pad area, and a large slide. They also have a couple of playgrounds, and bounce houses.

We do a lot of camping in state parks, and we are kind of spoiled with sizes of the sites. The sites here were pretty close together, and it felt very tight until the park started to clear out on Sunday.

They have sites with power, water, and sewer. Other sites are just power and water. We were on site 21 and most of these sites appear to be set up as a pull through. It was hard to tell at first, but on most of the sites facing the lake there is room to pull forward and unhook. The power/water/sewer hookup is by the road, so if you back in all the hookups are on the wrong end.

Pets are allowed in the camp sites.

The only complaint I have was with the WiFi. The area that we were in had a wifi antenna, but it was powered off most of the weekend. I informed the management that leg of their system was down but They could not keep it up and running.

They have lots of cabins, and from the outside they appeared in good condition.

The roads inside of the camp ground are paved and are good shape. Great place for kids to ride their bikes.

The park has a man made lake that was pretty nice. They have paddle boards you can use for no additional cost.

The cost was a little pricy. It was $80 per night, but that includes full use of the pools, put put golf, bounce houses, etc. Click image for larger version

If you click on the "More" tab at the top of the page there is a place for campground reviews.

I'll have to check it out. I use the app version, and it's here. I'll have to go to the full web version.

If that's where we should put them, I will do so for now on.

It not on the full web version, so I'll check on a PC.
