Help in Arizona

We've got Suburban furnace problems; anyone have suggestions for the Tucson area? I know about Oasis RV, but have not used them. Ideas?

Thanks for working on a Sunday, Andy. It's a NT-30, new in 2001. Has been serviced up north over the years: electrodes, motors, card, limit switches, gas valve. Thermostat is original. She will go to green light, fire to red, run fine for 15 minutes, then go back to green, try to red light three times and go back to green and will not shut down until I back down the thermostat. She will fire again and do the same thing. No smoke, outlets seem to be pushing heat fine. Got me stumped, wish I'd bought Suburban stock! Thanks for any help, 'cause I'm kind of in no-man's land here.

Mike.

Sounds like the thermostat has gone wacky.

The only brain the furnace has is the ignitor, other than the disc's.

Everything else is controlled outside of the furnace.

Andy

Mike,
I don't remember if there is a mobile tech in Ajo, but if there is. Furnaces are items they work on all the time so they should be able to help if you can't sort it out yourself. Most mobile tech's I have used will do warranty work.

OBTW, the NAPA Auto in Ajo also carries RV stuff. I don't know about furnace parts.

Recommend Oasis RV in Tucson

Mike,
Oasis has done plenty of work for us and given us some great deals too. I would recommend them. Give Rick a call tomorrow morning if you need a part. Heck they might even cruise over to Ajo.

Beaudry RV has a dealership and repair shop in Tucson. There is also an RV campground and a Campers World on site. We have stayed at the RV park and it is a great place to stop; good security, showers, etc.

I'm sure that someone there could help you out. I have seen big motorhomes being serviced at their campsite.

Also, we purchased our Airstream at Oasis, and they provide good service at fairly reasonable prices. They are higher than some other shops, but it seems like all Airstream dealers are. Oasis has been there for years and years, and they are the only Airstream dealer in Tucson.
