Heading to Folly Beach, SC...Any Ideas?

Hey guys,

We have a wedding to attend on Folly Beach, SC in April.

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a nice campgrond near to Folly we can should stay. We are pulling a 24' Tradewind.

This is a couple of miles to Folly and about a mile to downtown Charleston.

We have stayed at James Island County Park Campground several times. They even provide a shuttle bus to Folly Beach or Downtown Charleston everyday, for a fee. They have a great dog park on the water's edge. It is fun to go watch the dogs play, even if you don't have one! Make reservations well in advance because it is a very popular place. It has been totally full every time we have camped there. There are paved bike trails, rock climbing walls, paddle boats and bikes to rent. It is always very clean and friendly. Even though the large motor homes are numerous there, our 1968 vintage trailer is welcomed and we always get lots of nostalgic admirers.
