We have a 40' MH and tow a Jeep Liberty. As you diesel drivers know, diesel fuel loves water, and diesel fuel is warmer after a day of driving than first thing in the morning. The water in the tank comes from the air in the tank, so I fill up just before arriving at the campground. There have been times when Jo Ann has had to unhook the Jeep and move it elsewhere.
If/when we switch to a diesel PU and Airstream the plan will be a little different. We'll go to the campground, get the coach set up, and then I'll drive back to get fuel.
