Driving to and keeping Airstreams in Mexico

I would like topurchase and tow six trailers from point of sale to Puerta Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. I am starting to familiarize myself with regulations. Does a trailer need to leave the country every year like an auto. Can one import one. Is there a stiff duty? I intend on bringing several of different sized and conditions from original to empty shell, however it need to be legal and safe to tow. I am going to offer an Airstream camp in the nearby mountains. There is a market I'm sure. Anybody have any thoughts, experience or advice?
One last thing: while the popularity of the smaller Airsteram is undeniable I am looking for trailers that can accommodate a family, like an Excella or International- 32'. Thank you.

Welcome, There were some folks down in the southern Baha that had an Airstream park and campground. I do not know if they are still up and running. Maybe you can find something on them using Google.

Hey, any update on this? Curious to bring one with our family for full time Mexican living.
