Short term storage north Atlanta

I will be in Atlanta in late June for a conference and would like to find a place to park my 24ft for about a week on the north side within an hour or so. Any ideas or should I forget it?

I have mine stored for a week at the Airstream dealer in Chandler, AZ on our way to Chula Vista, CA. Not sure if there’s an Airstream dealer nearby but maybe there might be another larger RV dealer that might accommodate a week of storage. Be expensive but maybe a nearby RV park. Might give you a discount if not hooking it up.

Send me a P.M. with a little more info about where you'll be staying and I'll do some investigatin'. The traffic in Atlanta area has approached legendary status in the last few years. There are some places I won't even attempt to go while towing.

I noticed a few days ago that U-Haul down here is offering covered RV storage now in some locations. The Airstream dealer here is Gwinette county I believe. That's on the Northeast side of the Metro area. Lots of traffic over there.

How about storing it at Top of Georgia Airstream only park near Helen. It’s a couple hours away. Inexpensive. Then camp there for a few days before or after. Beautiful countryside. Lots to see.

That's a good idea, just need to be a WBCC/Airstream club member to do that (last I heard anyway). Last time I was there they charged less per night to stay there then most storage places.

Don’t have to be but TOG is cheaper if you are a member. Membership is not expensive and worth it IMO. Beautiful place. Friendly people.

Boondocker,
You did say storage for a week however you might consider parking/camping your rv at Red Top Mountain State Park in Kennesaw or Stone Mountain Park just outside Atlanta. They're rv camp grounds with water/electric and some with full hook ups. Red Top SP is about an hour from downtown ATL. Of the two Red Top is my favorite.

Are you looking for a place to store or camp? If your just looking to store/ park it. We have a spot at our business in Cumming where you could park it. One mile from GA 400 at exit 14. PM me if you want to discuss.
