You do know there are more direct routes between Arizona and New Mexico, right?

We will also be at the ballon rally so want to catch up and hear all the travel stories. We will be doing an Alaska trip with our local unit next summer and I have the great fortune to work 12 weeks of the year in schools north of the Arctic Circle so I get to visit Alaska (Fairbanks is my hub) 4 times during the school year.

Any ideas for after the Ballon Rally for National Parks, hiking before we head home to Texas and I get ready for another trip to Alaska?

Look forward to those adventures.

We stayed in a Las Vegas RV resort. It is like bringing your own hotel room with you with the Airstream. Very tight campsites, pretty crowded, but nice restaurants and a small par 3 golf course.

The golf resort looks nice. Very un-desert like. You might try one of those bazookas from the museum to shoot the golf ball farther.

That solar array is notorious for cooking birds in mid flight. So much for green energy!

Speaking of green, check out Green River SP in Utah on your return...they have a nine hole course.

Nice post, we have nearly the same TV for a 23' FC. What roof rack and rod holder do you use?

Thanks.

Roof rack Is a Thule that is an option with the ARE cap. The tube is ABS and is holding flag poles. The flyrods are in the trailer.
