Question Not Yet..

Ann

Do you know something that we all should be informed of??

I understand that in the whole country of ours that, there maybe only 36 A/S parks total...A few are reported to be closing down down due to the lose of land, etc..It would be nice to know where they are..

UPDATE: I just found this thread that should be of interest~

I must admit, I wasn't aware that one existed in Virginia.

I've booked marked the address...All the more reasons why I should look into joining that unit in Tidewater...lol

Ann - I had the pleasure of stopping at Highland Haven for the night about six weeks ago. It's a beautiful Airstream park.

Many of the sites are along the top of a ridge, with great views over the mountains. The sites all have concrete patios and are large and nicely landscaped.

The lots are all owned, so as a visitor you will receive whatever site is available at the time, but there were a dozen or so sites open when I was there. But to be on the safe side, you might want to call ahead.

I wished I could have stayed longer, but my schedule would not allow it. I was so impressed that I am planning a trip to the area this fall just to spend a couple of days there.
