May 2012 Playboy

The new issue just arrived in the mailbox and the centerfold features a late 40's early 50's Liner in the centerfold pictorial of Playmate of the Month - Nikki Leigh. Playboy has just earned a spot in my Airstream library.

There are plenty of good trailer shots in the pictorial. There is one interior photo that shows a well patinaed interior end cap.

See, I knew the pix would help. A picture is worth a thousand words but 2 pictures are worth a lot more.

And 2,915 "guests."

This is obviously a stab at retro. Note the crocheted vest, headband, bracelets, hippie swing and trailer, but what's with the big "balls" around the picnic table?

Were they really bigger in the sixties?

At least nobody has said she needs a new axle yet.

The trailer, I mean.

Mr. Mod's Playboy arrived today too. I seriously doubt that girl has EVER been camping!
On a more G-rated note, I just got my issue of Sunset magazine, it had a cute teardrop trailer on the front with a few recommended camp spots in the West, of course.
Anyhow, I'll check out both mags.

Would have been perfect with a Legomatic chair. I wonder what my wife would say about the excuse I just got it for the Airstream.

Easy...the PB interview with David Brooks may offer guidance on how to cope with WBCCI politics.
