Stop by if you get a chance Bruce. We will be here till Thursday morning, then off to Goliad for a unit rally. PM and we can talk.
This thread could have some unexpected side effects. I'm in the process of putting new tires and wheels on our old boy (2 down and 2 to go) and now Sunny Skye is seeing some of these polished beauties and starting to think...maybe if we polish the trailer, the wheels will even look better...
More proof that this is the most expensive free site I have ever seen!

It starts as a glimmer-man, I would like to have one of those. Then, it goes to if I could do this. First thing ya know yur $3500 taylah is worth(has invested in) $20,000. A'int it grand. Sorry, I was digressing from the theme while answering a comment.

Reflecting on Why We Camp
Here are 4 photos taken this last year during our Airstream Travels. They capture a bit of the sense of why we got our rig in the first place and why we enjoy it so much. Camping in our Silver Igloo--Iggy--has opened a whole new world of enjoyable experiences.
Pacific Sunset, watching the close of a day capped by a peaceful sunset along the California coast.
Enjoying paddling on smooth-as-glass water in the Sierra foothills.
Rallying with about a hundred fellow Northern California aluma-nuts along the Russian River.
Finally, an Airstream can sleep 4 adults and 2 dogs well enough that we're all up for a peddle tram ride the next day in Monterey.

Reflections on a life cut short!
As with most families, to have or have not, regarding a pet came in 2000. Our girl's named our dog: Rex Millennium "Dog of the Century". He loved camping and being with us, and hated being left behind. A friend once told us he would practice "opera" whenever we left him in the trailer (LOL), say.... to go to dinner. Of course we thought he was the best dog ever. He succumbed to heart problems this last summer. RIP: 3/2000 - 7/2011.

Well Chuck old boy, looks like you really have your work cut out for you. Already a dozen potential winners and you're just gettin' started. 24 more days left in the month.

Unreal right? These are gorgeous. I have some favorites already though, All of them!
And I deliberately did not put in a requirement for the Airstream to be in the pic. Some of these are just amazing. Gotta tell you, the dog in sunglasses on a boat with the two girls is right up there...And who doesn't like Corona, or mirror lake, or a grandkid reflecting on the future, or..., or..., or... This will be so hard I have decided to take some sage advice from the previous months winner...Don't worry about it till the contest is over, kick back and enjoy the pics till then.
So I am enjoying...(someone should make a calendar with these pics) use the winner of each month? I'll buy one!

Oh, oh....since we're mentioning Glacier...here's our kids playing in that same lake. This is the reason why we Airstream and travel...for us, it's all about the kiddos, and hopefully they will think back and "reflect" on all of the wonderful times and places they've been:

These are two new reflection shots. Just taken this past weekend on a trip to Pt. Reyes, CA. Being the first forum photo contest I've entered, it was fun to look for cool and unique shots of the airstream! And we had a beautiful setting to take photos.

Canine Reflections
We've got a Border Collie that doesn't seem to be a typical Border Collie - she seems to have a very meditative side ......
Whenever we are camping she will inevitably gravitate to the lake ..... settle down ..... stare out over the water ..... enter what looks like her "Alpha Zone" ..... and pretty much just looks like she is contemplating life ......
We've chuckled a lot over this - and it has become enough of a regular event that we've started to keep a photographic record .....
So .....
.... here are a few of Attica's "Canine Reflections" ......
