I purchased a folding door, wood look, at Home Depot. I would think a tension curtain rod would work although I am very pleased with the folding door and not expensive at all.
We used C clamps to hold a bar across the doorway and hung a shower curtain from that.
Eventually, we put back the original aluminum channel and made a new accordion door to match the curtains.
The new accordion door was made using plastic vertical blind slats (like those for sliding glass doors) in long vertical pockets sewed in a double thick door curtain. I riveted the curtain sliders into the holes at the top of the slats, catching the curtain material too, to hold everything up.
It helps to have the original hardware. But as long as you have something to stiffen the front edge and some sort of catch to hold it shut, you'll be fine.
Thanks! Next time we are in the city we will have to check one out at home depot, I kinda want to see in person if it's something I want to use! I went at put up a tension rod, works ok. Just hope it doesn't fall down all the time .
Thanks for that link.... The room dividers look great!!! I could totally make that, just gotta figure out replacement hardware.
I love the bunk bed too! We are going to have to add one in the next few years. Soon our 5 year old and 2 year old will not both fit on the gaucho.
Great tips thanks!
