Our recliner addition

Both Hoonanea and Lucky Ducks have done beautiful conversions on Their ASs to be able to use a recliner rather than the uncomfortable curb side bench seat that is standard. We wanted to accomplish the same but not go to the expense that they incurred. What we have done at minimal cost works for us. Our wish list includes the conversion that both of the above have done.

You will notice that the sub woofer is now on the floor, out of the way, between the bench and recliner as is our Lab's feeding station. In addition we have a voltage monitor plugged in to the receptacle below the table. Our recliner comes from our previous RV (a 35' Nu-Mar Premier Hitchhiker). The Nu mar came with two recliners as well as the couch and we thought that it was overkill and removed it a while ago and moved it to our home. Now it is back in an RV where it belongs.

It looks like you modified the existing table and kept the mounting hardware. I like that idea.

That is exactly what was done. The top laminate was replaced after the table was reshaped and then the edging was replaced. All the original hardware was utilized in the original screw holes. I would like to replace the support pole with the newer model, but, i don't have a source.

Fair winds,
