Why aren't the hinges on the other side? Like a car door? It wouldn't be as much of a problem then.

So, the panel looks great, I have a new Nissan Frontier, no walls, heater, pantry or closet. I figured while the Bambi is disemboweled I thought I take it further and replace the shower pan that I have repaired twice.

What I want to know is, do I have to go underneath the trailer to undo the plumbing connection to the pan or is there a tool I can use to separate the pan and drain?

Just unscrew the chrome fitting. It may be seized which will make it difficult to unthread.
If you need it there are special wrenches to fit into the fitting to make it easier.
They should sell those at Lowe's or HD or a plumbing supplier.

I found this in my "take back to the store because it didn't work pile". I got it when installing my kitchen sink in the house but it just never worked right and I had to use two screwdrivers at odd angles. (don't ask) I had forgotten about it. Will give it a shot a little bit later.

BIG OUCH!! Happen to me too. I picked up my AS in Georgia traveling back to Texas when a man drove next to me honking and pointing frantically. THANK YOU, HANSOME STRANGER. It was my fault (does not sting any less) didnt latch the door. Pulled over, to my horror...the exterior skin remained in tact, the interior skin ripped from the door frame and split the door frame in HALF near the lock. Now Im left with trying to figure out how to repair the frame. Maybe, JB Weld and straping inside then repairing the interior skin. Anyway, I didnt let it ruin the trip...sometimes you laugh to keep from crying..then again, Ive heard that a person laughs alot right before they go INSANE. It thats true ...IM VERY CLOSE

PS...Should you have any ideas for my repair....PLEASE HELP....

That sound really not fun. We have different types of doors I believe. Check the door repair threads. I know a few people have had to repair your style. Aerowood for one. Check his thread.

It took me awhile to get it going but after I was able to start the turn it came out easily. I think I had porcelain(ed) the drain to the pan.
Of course we all know that removal of ANYTHING in an Airstream require multiple steps seemingly unrelated to the task at hand. I had to remove the nice curved piece on the outside edge as well as what I call the rails. (forgot to take a photo of them)

I am now trying to decide about this piece of swollen flooring. Think I'll sand it down seal the tire area and put some wood hardener on the floor

I think I'll take out the toilet and that horrible linoleum, clean up around it a bit a put in a nice piece of marmoleum. There is a place right down the street from where I work that is bound to have a small scrap of something nice.

Because when there is an awning the arms interfere with (prevent) the door from being opened fully.

Oh, do I know the phrase too well but I guess most people do.

We had an Argosy, a door-lock broke while returning to from Big bend. We taped the door closed and had it repaired after returning to Dallas, the damage was limited to the door (straighened) and a new lock (they're very proud of them).

Late in August we are headed to the Four Corners area thru Creed, hope to see you then.

Does anyone know how to soften the plumbers "whatever" you know the roll of tape type putty? Every time I try to call it plumbers putty I am corrected, so I don't know what to call it. Anyway, it is adhering very well, I guess it kept the water out as it should. Bu iI need the coving off to get the linoleum out. I thought I'd try pulling some dental floss behind it and hope that works.
