alclad on both sides?

So I bought some 2024 T3 aluminum to work on the trailer. The problem is the Aircraft Spruce switch board girls can't seem to find the info I need. I need to know a) are both sides alclad coated. If yes great!! If no, which side has the clading on it? The lettered side or the non lettered side?

I am sure many of you have had to deal with this, can ya help me please?
Thanks,
Barry

Alclad is not not coated rather dipped thus making both sides equal. So both sides have pure aluminum that will polish!

Thanks Todd, after speaking to Aircraft Spruce they gave me the number of TW Metals who supplies Aircraft Spruce with their aluminum. Tom there, told me exactly that, Alcoa produces the aluminum for them and it is dipped so has the coating alloy on both sides. Thanks for answering....Hope all is well..

Vin, you look like the one to ask. When did AS stop using Alclad for exterior construction and switch to the straight alloy? Was it when Alcoa started the baked on clear coat (around 2000), or was it earlier?

Thanks
Howard
