Looking for Formica
I'm looking for the orange Boomerang Formica, does anyone know where I can find it? I know that it was discontinued in 2010 but I'm hoping that someone might have a lead on it.
Or if I can't get that, is there any other fun cool vintage pattern out there for my '65 Tradewind?

Don't know about Orange, but I found a hard to find boomerang from:
Heffron's General Contracting
2051 Genesee St.
Oneida, NY 13421
315-363-7726
Really good folks to work with, but get ready for STICKER SHOCK!!! Shipping is big $$ too. I needed / wanted the color boonerang I bought, but you have to REALLY want it.

It's hard to find once it had been discontinued. Best bet is to call local distributer and see if the will search for you. Another company to look at is abet. It's hard to tell from their website but the have some great patterns. Go see them in person. I have loved using them in all kinds of projects.

HOLY COW!!!!!! What the heck. Now I'm really kicking myself for not ordering it last year from Home Depot. They could still get it last year but I was unsure about the color that I wanted. Grrrr. Reirner Girl, Thanks for the lead. I'll get a hold of her and see what she has.
Thanks everyone.

All colours but the grey have been discontinued by Formica.

I will email my sis tomorrow - I know they still have it.... I apologize, they are two veterinarians that are extremely busy AND sending their firstborn off to college. I think they would be happy to entertain an offer ...pm them again!
I also heard that Formica had new designs planned but when I asked them on facebook they were keeping things mum...

Wilsonart has some really neat boomerang colors. They're special order & big bucks, though. I really wanted the old formica aqua color, but just ordered the charcoal from Lowes. It was a total of about $75. My AS well runneth quite dry so it's within the budget!

These folks could make the whole counter/table for less than a sheet costs.

Thanks everyone for the help!
Perry~Thank you for that link to the Formica tables! In this last month my husband got a new job and we found out that we have to move closer, so we have bought house, sold a house and are getting ready to move.
My new kitchen in the house needs to be redone and I was thinking of putting in a vintage kitchen with a Formica table and now I know where to order one from! I'm so excited! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Your welcome. I hope they have a color you like which looks like gray unless they have some old stock.
