Stainless Steel Antenna Mount on AS Body

Am using a Shakespeare stainless steel marine antenna mount (4187-HD) for a ham radio antenna. Will mount it low on the street site.

The mount and all the hardware are marine stainless steel. there is a rubber gasket between the main mount part and the AS body.

Should I be concerned about SS in contact with the AS body? If so, how should I treat the installation to prevent dissimilar metals problems?

Anyone else with similar mount experience?

You should not have any major problems with the dissimilar metals between stainless and aluminum. I would believe that the rubber gasket mount would be more than sufficent. We use stainless fasteners with aluminum all the time in architectural metals. Our biggest issue is the differing expansion/contraction coeficients. Which should not be a problem here.

Just keep it isolated from the AS body and you will eliminate any fruture headaches. Thats the easy thing to do.
