Pump Switch with new info
In my 1975 Tradewind 25' rear bath I have no power to the water pump. The pump works fine, I pulled it out and tested it. All fuses look good. The converter has been changed and my control panel has never operated correctly since the change. When I turn on a switch, light or pump, it shuts off the panel gauges. Have I lost the ground on the panel? Is this my problem? I spent that last hour searching old threads and think this could be it. If so how do I correct the problem?
I find that when I turn on the pump switch at the control panel, with the hot wire connected to the pump then touch the negative wire to the pump terminal the pump light on the control panel goes off. I continue to show no power on my test meter with the switch on or off.
Thanks,
Chaplain Kent
